Jon W. Lindgren
Executive Vice President
Jon has served as NVBIA’s Executive Vice President since 2010. Prior to NVBIA, Jon worked for PulteGroup’s Mid-Atlantic Division for nearly 7 years as their Land Acquisition Manager. During his time at Pulte, he worked on two of the division’s most intensive and high-profile development and rezoning efforts—MetroWest in Fairfax County and Potomac Yard in the City of Alexandria.
Prior to that Jon worked on Capitol Hill for 6 years, where he served as press secretary for U.S. Senator Conrad Burns. Originally from Helena, Montana, Jon completed his B.A. at Carroll College (Helena, MT) and received an MBA in real estate and finance from American University in Washington, D.C.
Director of Business Development
Since graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing in 1995, Ed has spent his entire career generating revenue for organizations. The majority of his career to date has been servicing the construction and homebuilding/remodeling industries. He has been a top performer within each organization and received numerous prestigious awards including Top Rookie Sales Person, Sales Person of the Month, President’s Club and Top 10 Sales Person in the nation.
Since 2010, Ed has been working at NVBIA to help grow membership, increase participation, and increase sponsorship. During his tenure he was promoted from Membership and Sales Senior Manager to Director of Business Development. While at NVBIA, membership has grown by more than 100 members and the Business Partner program was established, which provides a significant source of the association’s yearly funding. Director of Government Affairs
Steve has spent 10 years working in different branches of government. Prior to coming to NVBIA, Steve served for 3 years as the Chief of Staff to Delegate Mark Levine, working on a wide range of issues that came before the Virginia House of Delegates. Previously, Steve served as a Judicial Clerk in the Delaware Superior Court and as an Attorney for the Social Security Administration. Steve is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and Duke Law School.
Lee Ann Belletti
Director of Events
Lee Ann Belletti brings over 15 years of experience facilitating all logistics of conference and social event planning, marketing and sponsorship sales for associations, corporations and the non-profit community, ensuring quality, image and value. Prior experience includes sales of millions of dollars of natural gas, oil and electric power to large commercial and industrial end users. She serves as a grassroots advocate to state and federal-level advocacy teams supporting the agenda for leading non-profit health organizations. Lee Ann received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from DePaul University.
Events & Communications Manager
Alexandra Whitson is the Events and Communications Manager for the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA). She is responsible for managing the events of all chapters, multiple committees and councils, as well as assisting with the planning and implementation of regional events. She also manages education courses, the association webpage, social media platforms, and weekly eNews blasts that go out to all members. Alexandra is a recent graduate of George Mason University and received her Bachelor of Science in Events Management in the Spring of 2017.
Membership Services and Database Manager
Briggitt, is a database management professional who has worked at NVBIA for more than 20 years, all of which has been spent in database and member record management. In addition to NVBIA, Briggitt also has experience in the homebuilding industry working for Winchester Homes, Stanley Martin Homes and Pulte Homes.
Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant
Michael holds a BA in Accounting from Rhode Island College and an MBA from Strayer University. Prior to coming to NVBIA, he had over 20 years of accounting and finance experience working for both public and private companies in the manufacturing, technology and technical services industries.
